This year it goes to Malaysia and we have only four weeks to get to know the country and its people, culture, food and eating habits of this Southeast Asian country. The plan is to discover a healthy mix of new and learn to relax and of course must not be neglected. Whether it is an island or a beach on the mainland, we do not know yet.
But the first step has been made: The decision that we go to Malaysia, has fallen. Previously, Korea and China were still in the race, but because of climatic conditions in our travel time, we have chosen Malaysia. Korea and China will be served at another time.
The second step is also done: The flights are booked. We start our tour in Thailand and will travel from there to the south. Within Thailand, we will travel by train. From Bangkok we have before, with 1-2 intermediate stops across the border to enter Malaysia. The journey by train through Thailand, we have already done twice. Once we are to Chumphon and Surat Thani once over to Koh Samui.
Now we have a variety of literature and read us a concern about current conditions, land, people and culture. We are excited to see where we will drive the trip and how different Thailand and Malaysia.
We were invited by relatives at a wedding in Ankara.
Wonderful opportunity for us, we can look at the same time the capital of Turkey.
Flights within Turkey are relatively cheap, so we fly for about 50 € a week to Ankara.
Should be celebrated and spend the night in a "teacher house" hotel.
A double room was already reserved, but at check-in there was a huge problem:
different last names on a room that is not clear!

Flight to Bangkok
Announcement of the Stewards: There is no longer allowed to drink alcohol and it brought no alcohol is sold in more drunken people.
Moment .. I'm flying to Majorca?
We're sitting in row 34, behind and beside us the toilets. I think I dispel my time, when I counted how often the toilets are used in such a 10 hour flight to Bangkok.
1 hour later: With such a rush I did not expect. Well, I will limit the count to only one toilet .. exactly next to me ... always blows towards us from a Düftchen.
2 hours later: No, I give up, the toilet is in use constantly, at times, people are snake .. On the other hand is not so .. why should that be on my side. The Pisserei gets on my mind!
3 hours later: One or the other passenger is now familiar to me, almost every half hour, some go to the toilet. Chicks with loud make-up bags and uninteresting types that use the upcoming time, loudly talking about the strange Mitwartenden about their travel plans .... no, not one to sleep is in row 34!
And yet it is from exhaustion just before nodding off, the outcrops somewhat hidden, but it is raised again and again from behind the toilet flush one.
After two written applications and two phone calls but I have no commitment, but a job interview in October. In the week from 13.10. I will come in Izmir in Marion's past kindergarten. Since Marion - next to the kindergarten - also active in the German School of Izmir, I am first confident that something will work out.
